You can determine the number of credits you need based on the number of batches you plan to run. For example: if you plan to run 3 batches of the game, you will need 3 credits.

In order to determine the number of batches, you'll need to consider how many participants you have in your program. We recommend no more than 12 per batch in a virtual and no more than 15 per batch in a physical/classroom environment.

If you have a group size of more than 12, you'll need to split them into multiple batches which you can either facilitate simultaneously or separately. In order to facilitate them simultaneously, you'll need additional facilitators.

Let's take an example to understand this better:

You have a group of 35 people for whom you plan to run Evivve in a virtual environment. You'll need to first segregate them into batches to determine how many batches you'll run. (35/12 = 2.91) This indicates that you'll be running 3 batches of the game: 2 with 12 participants and 1 with 11 to cover all 35 participants. This should be enough for you to know how many credits you'll need - 3.

Let's take the example a little further to understand how you would facilitate the experience. You have a choice here, you can either choose to facilitate it simultaneously or stagger them over multiple days. The number of credits you need will still be the same in either case. However, if you choose to run them simultaneously, you'll need the help of additional facilitators who could co-facilitate the game with you. They will be running the game at the same time as you for one of the batches, so the gameplay starts and ends at the same time. If you choose to do so, you can use this format to conduct the introductions and debriefs together -while the gameplay happens separately (usually in breakout rooms).

On the other hand, if you chose to facilitate all the batches on your own, you'd have to choose the staggered format of delivery. In which case, you would schedule each batch at a time that doesn't conflict one another since you'd be the single facilitator for all the batches.

Choose the format that works for you and your audience and as always if you need help, we'll be here to support you through it.
